Who are we?
I am a technical director at The River Church in Michigan. I come from a background of dive in an figure it out! The pastors and ministry leaders I have been under and around have forced me to think very creatively about how to do tech and pull of some incredible events with little expertise, money, and time. Through all of these adventures I have gained some very unique experiences and I want to share them all with you!

I am 35 years old and am currently the production director for The River Church in Holly, MI. I have been on staff for 16 years. Technology has always been my passion, since I started working with it in High School.
I began going to church when I was 10 years old, and was born again a few years later. My first experiences in serving were in the worship band, where I began playing bass guitar. Our church went through many struggles and through those I served a short time as the worship leader and on the pulpit search committee. At our lowest, our church reached an attendance of 30. God brought us a pastor and I began my journey serving at a multi-site church. I joined the staff in 2003. Since then, I have served a several roles at 4 different locations, but have spent the majority of that time as production director.
Production director can mean many different things depending on the church you are at. At The River, I oversee production at all 5 of our locations, as well as directly run production at our Holly location. I have been a part of a lot of great things, including reviving a 175 year old church on the verge of closing, starting on the ground level with a church plant, several large scale concerts and outdoor gatherings, building out a 1,800 seat auditorium, several music/drama productions, and 2 mobile churches meeting in a school and a theatre. I’m excited to share my knowledge with those like me around the world, and hope that through this experience the Kingdom can be made greater.
